OREANDA-NEWS. Expanding its reach in India, Tata Starbucks - a joint venture between Tata Global Beverages (TGB) and Starbucks, has opened two new stores, in the domestic and international terminals of New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

With this launch, Tata Starbucks has made its foray into a new market segment and expanded its number of stores, reaching more customers and making it consistent with its commitment to work thoughtfully to open stores in locations where their customers want and expect them to be.

In this segment, the stores will offer a differentiated breakfast menu that is carefully selected to cater to travellers, while providing an inviting and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the legendary Starbucks experience while in transit.

The menu includes a host of new vegetarian and non-vegetarian sandwiches, such as Mediterranean focaccia with roast vegetables, wild mushroom pockets, and chicken ham and roasted peppers ciabatta, in addition to a wide range of cakes, muffins, pastries, breads, wraps and savouries. Additionally, the store will offer an extensive beverage portfolio that includes a wide range of Starbucks signature beverages, Tata / Tazo teas and Himalayan mineral water.

The company hopes to extend the Starbucks experience backed by the trust of the Tata name and meet the increasing demand for high quality coffee within travel channels in India.
