OREANDA-NEWS. Following the commissioning and official hand over ceremony in Split, Baltic Workboats has completed its contract on building of 28-meter and 14-meter patrol crafts for the Croatian Police (CP).

These aluminum vessels having a maximum speed of more than 30 knots will increase the CP law enforcement capabilities throughout Croatian coastal waters in Adriatic sea.

The 28-meter vessel is based on Baltic Workboat‘s continually evolved 26-meter fast patrol vessel hull.

The all aluminum monohull provides enhanced crew habitability, maneuverability and fuel efficiency across various operating conditions.

The aft deck of this vessel features 90 hp RIB boat and 3 ton Guerra deck crane.

The wheelhouse is separated into two working premises. At the aft end of the wheelhouse there is a saloon, office and toilet. At the forward end of the wheelhouse is a navigation bridge.

The vessel is able to accommodate 9 crew members in 4 twin cabins and a single cabin for the captain.

During recent sea trials vessel achieved a maximum speed 32 knots.

The vessels is powered by two 1220 kW, MTU 12V2000 M84 engines driving five blade FPP propellers.

Auxiliary consist of two 27 kW Cummins Onan engines.

14-meter patrol boat is built on proven 14 m “Patrol 130” hull, BWB has built numerous through last years.

The propulsion package of this boat includes twin Volvo-Penta D 13-600 diesel engines rated for 440kW at 2,100rpm, ZF 325 marine gears, and FPP-s.

The tailor made wheelhouse is comprehensively equipped to enable all needed modern navigation and surveillance procedures.

Boat features also required four shock mitigation seats, same number of berths, kitchenette, WC, shower, hot and cold water and full air conditioning.
