OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2013. A survey arranged by CV Keskus reveled that two Eesti Telekom companies are in the top five among most reputable employers in Estonia - Elion placed third, and EMT fifth.

The respondents highly valued the security provided by a stable organization, company’s good reputation, and the fact the employer is the leader in its field.

According to Paavo Heil, CEO at CV Keskus, respondents said that they were mostly motivated by competitive salary and good work conditions, company’s good reputation and reliability, humanistic approach towards employees, stability, and career possibilities. At the same time, the salary was not mentioned as much as in similar previous surveys ; however, this does not mean that it is no longer relevant, but rather that a decent salary is taken as a ‚given’.

According to the survey, Eesti Energia leads the ranking of most reputable employers, Skype places second, and Swedbank fourth.

Approximately 5,000 people across Estonia took part in the CV Keskus survey between end of February and beginning of March, 2013. 77.3% of respondents were employed or self-employed, 9.6% were students, and 13% were unemployed. 68.9% had tertiary education including vocational/technical training, and 26.6% had secondary education.
