OREANDA-NEWS. Each year, IPTC presents an award to recognize the distinguished achievements by a company or companies for integration of multiple disciplines and execution for major industry projects, from discovery to delivery.

Integrated projects that are realized at over USD 500 million, exemplify strong teamwork, solid geosciences knowledge, reservoir and production engineering acumen, determined and watchful construction, outstanding facilities engineering practices, and effective planning, along with an active commitment to HSE, qualify for consideration for this prestigious award.

One single integrated project team The PAZFLOR project strategy was based on a fully empowered, multi-disciplined and integrated project management team, mostly located at contractor premises or on sites and in charge of all activities from Geosciences to Field Operations.

Skilled contractors were closely supervised and involved in a win-win relationship with Total. Stakeholders and project teams were kept well-informed on project progress no matter where they were located worldwide.

The Pazflor project management team applied extremely rigorous and well regulated standards to project reporting.

Conferencing technology was used to the full, with up to ten different onshore and offshore sites worldwide participating in major milestones achievements.

Despite the global scope and the need to pool skills around the globe, Pazflor was managed as a single integrated project team with everyone working towards the same goal and with the same objectives.
