Construction of automatic filling stations today is one of the promising areas of the Company's filling stations network development. In the conditions of densely populated cities and especially lack of free land sites the new generation filling stations represent a solution to several pressing problems all at once: construction of a mini-filling station requires considerably less space than the one of a conventional filling station.

The filling station construction and the facility operation and maintenance costs are significantly reduced. All this eventually yields a good economic effect. This takes into account interests of car owners, for whom the advantages of TATNEFT's mini-filling station include the station's location within the city limits and selling Class 5 Fuel.

The project of introducing automatic filling stations, elaborated by the Crude Oil and Petroleum Products Sales Department, was approved by the Board of Directors of JSC TATNEFT late in 2011. Its implementation began in 2012. Today there are 6 TATNEFT's automatic new generation filling stations working in Kemerovo, Izhevsk, Almetyevsk and Kazan.

The automatic filling stations of the Company consist of fuel dispensers, payment terminals, fuel storage tanks and a canopy to protect customers from rain and snow. However, they meet all the latest environmental, health and fire safety requirements. The filling station operation is controlled by the operator from the nearest station, which any customer can contact through the terminal if required.

The motorists have deservedly appreciated the convenience of the new generation filling stations: lack of queues, compact layout, modern fuel dispensers and payment terminals.

On the occasion of the opening the first filling station customers were presented discount cards that allow a discount to refuel at TATNEFT's filling stations all around Russia.

The plans provide for further construction of two new automatic filling stations in Almetyevsk In 2013 and additionally four existing filling stations will refurbished for automatic control operation.
