OREANDA-NEWS.  April 25, 2013. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, held a working meeting with Rustem Khamitov, President of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In the framework of the meeting Dmitry Patrushev, and Rustem Khamitov discussed the progress of seasonal field works financing in the region.

Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) sets the financing of agricultural producers during the sowing and harvesting seasons as priority of its operations in the Republic. In 2013, RusAg’s Bashkir branch has extended more than RUB 1.5 billion for these purposes, which represents a 57% growth as compared to the corresponding period of 2012.

RusAg’s Bashkir branch started operations in 2004 offering banking services at 41 additional offices throughout the region. Over the period of the Bank’s operation in Bashkortostan the total amount of lending extended under the State program on agribusiness development 2008-2012 exceeded RUB 25 billion. The branch provided over RUB 20 billion for seasonal field works financing.
