OREANDA-NEWS. According to preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 967.6 million as of 30 April 2013. The index is more than that as of 31 March 2013 by USD 26.5 million.

The international reserve converted in foreign currency totals USD 2 748.1 million as of 30 April, including that floated as securities – USD 1 840.3 million as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) – USD 907.8 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totals USD 219.5 million. Reserve position with IMF totals USD 15.1 thousand.

Since 2013, the NBG international reserve was increased by USD 94.6 million and reached the historic maximum.
