OREANDA-NEWS. Trailer KAMAZ Inc. certified its quality management system in an independent body - Russian Register Certification Association - for compliance with requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2008.

This moment was preceded by serious preparation started more than a year ago. During the whole work on creation, implementation and certification of the QMS, the specialist of ZAO Register Consulting Tatiana Daki consulted employees of the subsidiary of KAMAZ. The company worked out and introduced 13 standards of the organization and a regulation on a process approach, and also carried out a workshop for internal auditors.

In March 2013, Stavropol's company underwent a preliminary certification audit of design, development and production of trailers and semitrailers; spare parts for them; sales, repair and technical maintenance of vehicle trailers and semitrailers. The certification audit confirmed that Trailer KAMAZ Inc. had introduced the functioning quality management system.

According to the top managers of the enterprise, the certificate of conformity gives a compelling argument for authoritativeness of the company's 45-year activity, its competitive advantage. The factory continues working on improvement of its QMS.
