OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2013. ICBC officially launched WeChat Banking service on July 28, 2013. Users may access the new ICBC We-Chat banking service by visiting ICBC website and scanning the 2D code into the mobile phone, or following "ICBC E-Banking" account at the WeChat platform.

At present, ICBC WeChat Banking offers round-the-clock services covering help desk enquiry, self-service enquiry and information retrieval. Customers may send enquiries to the public account "ICBC E-Banking" via WeChat message, where ICBC's help desk is ready to swiftly answer all enquiries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Another option is to edit a message in fixed format and retrieve in real-time 12 categories of financial information: account opening bank, promotion, gold price, silver price, platinum price, deposit interest rate, loan interest rate, FX spot rate, FX exchange rate, fund NAV, bond price and net worth of financial products.
