OREANDA-NEWS. NEC Corporation announced that it will participate in Africa Com 2013, the largest telecom event in Africa, taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, from 12 to 14 November 2013.

At its stand (Booth #P37, Hall 4), NEC will introduce a broad range of solutions for telecom operators, including Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions which are designed to deliver greater flexibility and shorter time to revenue, and to dramatically reduce operational complexity.

Mr. Kukita will outline the critical role that SDN will play to make networks flexible, agile and responsive to ever-changing service demands, while introducing business benefits, potential applications and deployment examples of the new technology.
