OREANDA-NEWS. The efforts of United Company NIAEP JSC - ASE JSC to introduce innovative project and work organization methods management system have been highly estimated. Precisely this conclusion can be made from the results of a working visit of S. Kirienko, Director General of State Corporation Rosatom, in the course of which it was decided to bring forward the start-up of the third power unit of Rostov NPP from early 2015 to December 2014.

“Construction of the third power unit is ahead of schedule. The start-up was scheduled for 2015. Having evaluated the progress of work, we decided to bring the start-up forward to 2014. The work is being intensive since we brought the date forward. But I have no doubts. The work at site is well-organized and it is certain the unit will be started by the end of the year”, Mr. Kirienko said.

During his visit to Rostov NPP Mr. Kirienko also reviewed the construction progress of the fourth plant unit. “It was important for me to understand how construction of the fourth unit is going. It may be ahead of schedule. We start thinking that we might have a chance to bring forward the date of this unit start-up as well”, the head of Rosatom summed up.

Today the Rostov site is a place where not only Rosatom production system, but also elements of a unique technology developed by the united company for project management of complex engineering projects, Multi-D, are being introduced.

In the long term all tried and tested best practices will be introduced at all the facilities, being built by NIAEP-ASE both in Russia and abroad, which undoubtedly will further enforce NIAEP-ASE's leadership on the global market of NPP and other complex engineering projects, including thermal generation facilities, design and construction.
