OREANDA-NEWS.   Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has reported appointment of Andrey Kholodov to the post of Tele2 Russia CEO.

In his new position Andrey Kholodov will be in charge of planning and managing operations in Tele2 Russia South, strengthening the company’s stance in the macroregion, improving key operating and financial indicators as well as developing Tele2 Russia corporate culture.
Andrey Kholodov was born in Krasnodar in 1971. In 1993 he graduated from the Kuban State University and in 2002 he completed his studied in the All-Russia Distance-learning Institute of Finance and Economics. Andrey Kholodov has been involved in telecommunications industry since 1999. During the past ten years he held different managing positions in MTS and headed the company’s subdivision in Krasnodar for two and a half years.

In December 2011, Andrey joined the Tele2 Russia team as regional managing director in the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygeya. He was appointed as Tele2 Russia South CEO in November 2013.
