OREANDA-NEWS. The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO announces the launch of a new research centre - the Wealth Management and Philanthropy Centre. Veronica Misyutina, former partner of PwC in Russia, will head the institution.

The new centre will support entrepreneurship in Russia through the elaboration and development of legal and educational infrastructure.

“The idea of the centre is to create an educational and research platform in Russia and CIS for entrepreneurial families, their family funds, service providers, charity funds operators, regulators and scientists. The centre has to become a space for exchange of the best practices in the field of asset management, succession and philanthropy”, said Veronica Misyutina.

One of the the centre's priority tasks in the field of philanthropy will be creation of the mass and individual charity tools and infrastructure that would connect donors and recipients.

The centre also plans to create and develop educational modules and implement them in the existing programmes of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, from Startup Academy to Executive MBA.

“Establishing the Wealth Management and Philanthropy Centre, we assume responsibility of pioneers”, commented Ruben Vardanian, member of the Coordination council of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and inspirer of the centre. “We are going to study the international experience in the field of wealth management, inheritance and charity and propose ready-made solutions for Russia.”
