OREANDA-NEWS. Belarusian distillery Belalco, based in Brest, has been converted into an open joint stock companies, with a 100% stake owned by the state, a representative of the profile ministry told.

Minsk Kristall, Klimovichi LVZ and Etanol distilleries are due to go private by the end of the year, the official informed.

The Brest-based distillery (currently Belalco) was established in 1897. It is capable of making about 1.5 million decaliters of hard drinks a year.
