OREANDA-NEWS. Corum has signed the first agreement with Zaporozhye Iron Ore Plant to produce new generation single-stage axial fans and build a modern turnkey mine ventilation system.

The company will perform all design, survey, construction and assembly works from soil survey to commissioning.

In addition, Corum will make high-speed fans that are unmatched in the CIS in terms of design solutions and aerodynamic characteristics. The company will use energy-saving solutions in the fan design as a modern automation system with a variable frequency drive will reduce energy use by 25%.

Commissioning and delivery are scheduled for this December.

Director of the Infrastructure Project Division Vladimir Merzlikin called the agreement as another step made by Corum towards performing turnkey projects.
