OREANDA-NEWS. The Emirates Group will engage Emirati job seekers at Careers UAE 2014 with a creative platform and a range of new interactive features. Applicants visiting the Group's stand will have the chance to participate in a touchscreen digital challenge and leave with more than just a job application.

Developed to engage and educate its users, the “Careers Take off Challenge” is designed to give potential recruits a glimpse into the organisation, highlighting the Group's recent milestones using trivia and interesting facts.

Applicants just need to input their data to enter the competition and share their scores on their Facebook or send them to their private emails for a chance to win return tickets to an Emirates destination. The highest scores will be chosen and three winners will be announced on the last day of the exhibition.

“This year's high-tech and interactive stand aims to provide potential recruits with a new perspective on the dynamic world of aviation and the Emirates Group,” said Amira Al Awadhi, Emirates Vice President National Recruitment & Development. “Knowing how stressful a job hunt can be, we want applicants to leave our stand feeling rejuvenated and excited to further explore career opportunities available for them at the Emirates Group,” she added.

In addition to the interactive game, the Emirates Group stand will also feature a fully-equipped briefing room on the first floor. The room will be used to host a number of schools and brief students about the different National Development programmes available at the Emirates Group.

The Emirates Group will also encourage UAE Nationals to utilise social media to show friends and family why Emirates is a great choice for their career. The group has created the hashtag #EmiratesUAEcareers to motivate visitors to take photos and post images or videos at the stand and use them on various social media platforms.

The Emirates Group has a long-established National Recruitment Programme, which the company believes is vital to the development of the Group and the nation. UAE Nationals constitute a growing proportion of leadership teams across the Group; illustrating the success of the UAE's policies and Emiratisation programmes.

The Group is also a strong supporter of the Absher initiative which was introduced by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA) to help diversify industries across the UAE and ensure compliance with government policies towards Emiratisation.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, the three-day fair will kick-off on 22nd April at Dubai World Trade Centre.
