OREANDA-NEWS. Miami International Airport welcomed the return of international carrier XL Airways France, which is again offering seasonal passenger service between MIA and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. XL Airways France first offered seasonal service on the popular transatlantic route last summer.

The carrier is offering three weekly nonstop flights utilizing Airbus A330-300 aircraft in a single-class configuration with 408 seats, and A330-200 aircraft in a two-class configuration featuring 343 standard seats and 21 premium seats. The direct service, which continues through August, will also carry freight between two of the world's 10 busiest airports for international air freight.

"We're pleased that XL Airways France has chosen to once again offer seasonal service between Miami and Paris," said Miami-Dade Aviation Director Emilio T. Gonzalez. "Miami-Dade County is a sought-after international destination, and these flights will bring up to 1,100 visitors to our community each week during the summer months, providing a solid boost to our local tourism industry."
