OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2014. Mobile phone service provider EMT, Internet service provider Elion and parent company Eesti Telekom will merge into one company in September.

The EMT and Elion trademarks will continue to be used, but the name of the company will be Eesti Telekom.

Valdo Kalm, the current head of all three companies, said at a press conference today that the aim is to become more client-oriented.

He said the three companies will combine their strengths in innovation and technology, creating a next generation IT and communications company.

Kalm said new services and products are on their way, including Internet with download speeds of up to 300 megabits per second.
