OREANDA-NEWS. Andrey Korotkov has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the Trubodetal factory (Open Joint Stock Company, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK CJSC, based in Moscow).

Igor Voronin, who had been doubling as the factory's Director and the Director of OMK's Pipeline Fittings and Valves Division, will now focus entirely on that division's strategic development. The division consists of Trubodetal and Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant (Open Joint Stock Company, based in the Republic of Bashkortostan, part of OMK).

“Andrey Korotkov is a veteran of the metallurgical industry. He managed one of Ukraine's largest pipe companies for many years. In this new position, Mr. Korotkov will be in charge of Trubodetal's day-to-day management. His task is to draw out the factory's competitive edge by optimizing the production cycle and by creating new products,” said Vladimir Markin, OMK's President, commenting on the appointment.
