OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2014. Sberbank CIB organised financing for CJSC MRTs Zdorovye Dlya Vas (manages the Clinic “K+31” project) worth RUB 2.1 bln2 for a period of 10 years.

The funds will be used to refinance the expenses for constructing one of the largest private full-cycle multifunctional medical centres in Russia – Clinic “K+31”. The centre has an area of 15,500 m2, is located in south-west Moscow, and services patients in over 40 areas of medicine on a daily basis.

Consulting firm IPT Group acted as the legal and financial consultant for Clinic “K+31”.

“The financing of commercial medicine infrastructure projects is a new area of business for Russian banks,” commented Natalia Ermakova, Head of the Corporate Clients Division’s Industrial Unit, Client Management Department, Managing Director at Sberbank CIB. “Thanks to this deal Sberbank is strengthening its leading position in this promising and dynamically developing segment. In addition, the deal underlines our intent to participate in the financing of projects of social significance in Russia.”
