At the annual general meeting of the shareholders of Tallinna Kaubamaja AS, held on 26 March 2015, the decision was made to change the business name of Tallinna Kaubamaja AS and adopt Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp AS as the new business name. In connection with the change of business name, the meeting also voted to amend the statutes of the company and approve a new version of the statutes. Today, the change of business name was entered in the business register; thus, starting from today, the new business name of the publicly traded company is Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp AS, while on the stock exchange, it retains the ticker symbol, “TKM1T”.

Over the past ten years, the Tallinna Kaubamaja group has significantly expanded its activities in various business segments. According to the Chairman of the Supervisory Council, the name change is a logical step in the restructuring that the whole group has undergone over the past several years. Today, Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp has become a holding company fulfilling strategic management functions. The Kaubamaja department store, located in the centre of Tallinn and celebrating its 55th birthday this year, continues to operate under the business name, Kaubamaja AS.
