Bank of Astana drawn to administrative responsibility
OREANDA-NEWS. Bank of Astana JSC (Almaty), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has by an official letter informed KASE of the following:
"...Bank of Astana JSC (hereinafter – the Bank) ... hereby notifies of drawing it by the National Bank of Kazakhstan on June 18, 2015 to administrative responsibility:
- in the form of a fine of KZT991,000 for an offense under Part 3 of Article 252 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on administrative offenses of July 5, 2014 (violation by the authorized banks and authorized organizations of limits of deviation of the foreign currency rate of purchase from selling rate for tenge on transactions conducted through the exchange offices established by the National Bank of Kazakhstan)."
