OREANDA-NEWS. Dorian LPG said it has taken delivery of the vessel Chaparral from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, bringing its VLGC fleet to 19.

The Chaparral will trade in the Helios LPG pool, a joint venture between Dorian and Phoenix Tankers. Another three ordered VLGCs remain under construction.

Shipowners are racing to put new vessels on the water to accommodate a boom in global LPG production.
