"The factoryof General Electric engines - for Kazakhstan is innovative production. I talked about this with the leadership of General Electric in New York during my meeting with the "captains of business". Now it is carried out ", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The first company in the field of engine was built in Kazakhstan in the framework of the state industrial-innovative development and implementation of the railway engineering.

The plant will provide the assemble, overhaul, service of 12-cylinder diesel engines for locomotives «Evolution». This will increase the level of localization of production the domestic locomotives from 32 to 53%.

In the future it is planned to master production of electric traction motors for the entire locomotive fleet.
