OREANDA-NEWS  Gasoline AI-92 in Russia rose by 0.6 percent, to a record 58,820 rubles per ton, according to trading data on the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange (SPbMTSB). This is a new record since June 22, 2023.

AI-95 fuel also became more expensive by 0.6 percent per day. Its value at auction rose to 65,620 rubles per ton, which is lower than the record of 67,380 rubles set in mid-June. Diesel fuel prices rose by 0.12 percent, to the level of 51,740 rubles. Heating oil became more expensive by 3.49 percent (17,990 rubles per ton), and jet fuel — by 0.15 percent (65,190 rubles per ton). Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell by 1.2 percent to 22,310 rubles per ton.

On June 22, the cost of AI-92 gasoline in the European part of Russia broke the record set in August 2021. For the first time in two years, the price of fuel has become higher than 58,500 rubles per ton. The rise in price is taking place against the background of a decrease in supplies to the domestic market in Russia. In June, the total volume of shipments amounted to 2.8 million tons, 6.5 percent less than in 2022.
