OREANDA-NEWS  Currently, the cost of gas supplied from Russia to Moldova is almost equal to the price at which the country buys fuel in Europe. In this regard, the Moldovan government wanted to change the terms of supplies from Gazprom, said the head of the Ministry of Energy of Moldova Viktor Parlikov. His words are quoted by TASS.

"We are not giving up the possibility of purchasing gas from Gazprom for the right bank of the Dniester, but this requires more reasonable prices from the Russian gas holding. At the moment, they are not much different from the proposals of Energocom [a state—owned company that buys gas in Europe]," he commented on the country's intention to receive raw materials from Gazprom at lower prices.

According to the minister, the gas supplied by the Russian company enters Moldova at a price of just over one thousand dollars per thousand cubic meters.
