OREANDA-NEWS The Russian-Moldovan company Moldovagaz has requested from the national regulator a reduction in the tariff for end consumers by 36% due to a reduction in the cost of imported fuel into the country. This was announced by the chairman of the board of the gas distribution company Vadim Cheban.

"Moldovagaz JSC has sent a request to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) to reduce the tariff for the supply of natural gas to end users at regulated prices in 2023," Cheban wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the final cost for the end user will be announced by ANRE.

In early April, Cheban announced the possibility of reducing the gas tariff for the population, which has increased in two years from 4 to 29 lei (from $ 0.25 to $1.6).
