OREANDA-NEWS Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak called for proactive measures to prevent fuel shortages in Russia and ensure a stable situation on the domestic market, the Russian government said.

Novak held a meeting of the headquarters on the situation on the oil products market on Monday.

"Alexander Novak called on the meeting participants to act proactively, identify potential risks in a timely manner and promptly take the necessary measures to prevent fuel shortages and ensure a stable situation in the domestic market," the headquarters said in a statement following the meeting.
