OREANDA-NEWS   In the period from May 1 to May 22, 13.34 thousand tons of Belarusian-made gasoline were sold at the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, which is almost 60 times more than a year earlier. Kommersant writes about this with reference to the review of the National Stock Exchange Pricing Agency.

In the period from May 18 to May 22, almost half of the total volume was sold — 8.88 thousand tons, which is four times more than in the previous week. The majority (almost six thousand tons) came from Ai-92 gasoline, and 2.4 thousand from Ai-95.

Market participants note that the increase in demand for Belarusian gasoline is due to the large number of unscheduled repairs at oil refineries. Buyers are interested in imports, taking into account "the actual availability of the resource and the delivery time to the site."

At the same time, the cost of gasoline from the neighboring republic is noticeably higher than the domestic one. As of May 25, a ton of Ai-92 gasoline from Belarus cost 96-97.5 thousand rubles, and on the stock exchange the price of Ai-92 according to the index of the European part of Russia on the same day was 67.43 thousand rubles.
