Deliveries of one Russian product to the UAE turned out to be record-breaking

OREANDA-NEWS In the first nine months of 2026, Russia exported about 27,000 tons of sunflower oil to the UAE. This was reported by the Telegram channel of Agroexport.
The cost of these supplies was estimated at over $38 million. Compared to the same period last year, exports increased 18 times in weight and 21 times in money.
It is noted that the volume of exports in January-September turned out to be a record in its history. The previous maximum was recorded in 2021, when in 12 months Russia imported 18.4 thousand tons of these products worth 24.6 million dollars to the UAE.
According to the results of the first seven months of 2026, the total revenue of Russian exporters from the sale of sunflower oil to India increased by more than a third compared to the same period in 2025. The total value of exports reached $1.17 billion. In annual terms, the indicator increased by 34.7 percent.
