OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian government has increased duties on the import of strong alcohol from unfriendly countries to 35%, but not less than 5 euros per liter, according to a cabinet resolution.

The changes relate to the import of alcoholic beverages, whiskey, rum, gin, vodka, liqueurs, non-denatured ethyl alcohol and other alcoholic beverages.

Previously, the import rate for these alcoholic beverages was 20%, but not less than 3 euros per liter.
