OREANDA-NEWS  The Financial Times (FT) newspaper, citing data from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), reported that Russia managed to significantly increase revenues from fertilizer exports over the past year.

According to the publication, from January to October 2022, Moscow's revenues from the sale of fertilizers to other countries increased by 70 percent compared to the same period in 2021. At the same time, a decrease in the total volume of exports was recorded by about 10 percent. The FAO clarified that Russia continues to increase exports to India, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Earlier, the official representative of the UN Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric said that the organization is making efforts to remove all possible obstacles preventing the export of Russian food and fertilizers.
