OREANDA-NEWS  The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) will supply 105 IL-114-300 regional passenger aircraft to Indian airlines, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said in a statement.

"United Aircraft Corporation in the framework of the international industrial exhibition Innoprom. India "has signed agreements with local airlines for the supply of regional IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft," the report says.
Thus, the UAC has concluded agreements of intent for the supply of 50 aircraft in the interests of Pinnacle Air and up to 20 aircraft of Air Kerala. A memorandum of understanding was signed with Sleek Aviation, which involves the supply of 35 aircraft, as well as the opening of a training center with a full flight simulator at the operator's base.

"India has significant potential for the development of regional air transportation, and the IL-114-300 meets the challenges of expanding the route network and increasing transport accessibility well. The agreements reached today confirm the interest of Indian airlines in the Russian aircraft and open up new opportunities for our cooperation," said Gennady Abramenkov, Deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, quoted by the press service.
The first international industrial exhibition "Innoprom. India" is taking place on September 9-11 in New Delhi on the eve of the 18th BRICS summit. More than 120 companies from Russia and India present their products here.
