OREANDA-NEWS   The trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan has almost doubled in 6 years and exceeded $ 10 billion by the end of 2024, Russian Trade representative in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zlygostev said in an interview with the Exporter's Knowledge Base as part of a joint project of the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group.Russian Federation) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation "Interview with the Trade Representative".

The material will be useful to companies planning to enter the Uzbek market and will help to obtain basic information about the country: the current state of foreign trade relations between the two countries, promising areas of cooperation, features of positioning and promotion of Russian products, electronic commerce, logistics and business communication," the REC said in a statement.

It is noted that the issue of creating joint Russian-Uzbek production facilities was raised separately.
