OREANDA-NEWS. Today, January 27, Russia resumes some international flights which were interrupted due to the world coronavirus pandemic. Flights will be restored with four more countries - Finland, India, Vietnam, and Qatar.

Now airlines will be able to carry out flights Moscow-Hanoi at intervals twice a week, between Moscow and Delhi planes will fly twice a week, in the Moscow-Helsinki direction thet will be operate also twice a week, from St. Petersburg to Helsinki they will be carried out twice a week, and on the Moscow -Doha route planes will shuttle three times a week.

So far, only one Russian air company, Aeroflot, has announced the restoring of flights with these countries. It will start its flights to Finland from January 28, to Helsinki and back the airline's planes will fly twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Explaining the plans to resume flights, Dmitry Gorin, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, told on January 21 that it is not yet possible for citizens to enter these countries as tourists. He recalled that these states retain their own internal restrictions on entry due to the pandemic.

Since August, Russia has begun to resume air traffic with other states step by step. Citizens are now allowed to fly to Turkey, Egypt, Switzerland, Tanzania, UAE, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, South Korea, Japan, Ethiopia, Finland, Vietnam, India, Qatar, Cuba, Seychelles and Maldives.
