OREANDA-NEWS  Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait have suspended flights in their airspace amid Iran's missile attack on the US military base Al-Udeid in Qatar, Western media reported on Monday.

"The airspace of the United Arab Emirates is closed according to the FlightRadar service," NBC reports.

The TV channel notes that the Iraqi authorities have taken the same measures.

"Kuwait is suspending flights in its airspace until further notice as a precautionary measure, following similar steps taken by neighboring countries due to the regional situation," Kuwait Times quoted a statement from Kuwait's General Directorate of Civil Aviation.

On Monday, the Iranian military launched missiles at a US military base in Qatar. According to Middle Eastern media reports, at least six missiles were fired at American targets as part of the operation called "News of Victory." According to unconfirmed media reports, a strike was also carried out on a US military base in Iraq.
