OREANDA-NEWS  A passenger bus traveling from Kazakhstan to Novosibirsk overturned on the highway in the Altai Territory. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region.

The incident occurred 17 kilometers from the village of Pankrushiha. The bus went off the highway and overturned. There were 54 passengers in the cabin. The causes of the accident are being investigated.

According to a RIA Novosti source in the law enforcement agencies, five people were injured as a result of the incident.

The Prosecutor's Office organized an inspection of compliance with the legislation on transport provision, the safety of passenger transportation by fixed-route transport.

Earlier, a regular bus overturned into a ditch in the Voronezh region, as a result of an accident, four people were injured. According to the preliminary version, the 63-year-old driver lost control and allowed the exit from the road, after which the bus overturned on its left side.
