OREANDA-NEWS  Half of the cars of a number of brands from China come for warranty repairs. This was stated by Anna Boyarshinova, CEO of the Perm automobile holding Verra, at the Russia—China conference during a discussion between the owners of large dealer holdings. The recording from the event is published by the Avtotok Telegram channel.

"It's a huge amount, it's scary. Plus, there are a lot of refunds. We have never experienced this," she said. To work with this volume, the legal service had to be expanded 10 times, the expert added.

The production facilities for warranty service are operating at a loss. Mechanics don't want to work with warranty repairs — they spend a lot of time on it and get little money for their work. Specialists have to work in a situation of insufficient expertise from the distributor's warranty service, lack of regulatory documentation and training programs. The situation with the supply of spare parts is also difficult, because to figure out what is coming is to "solve the quest," Boyarshinova added.
