OREANDA-NEWS  The number of delayed long-distance trains due to a drone attack in the Dzhankoy district of Crimea has increased to five, the press service of the GSE carrier company reported.

"As of 9.45, several Tavria trains to Crimea have been stopped: No.92 Moscow – Sevastopol, No. 315 Adler – Simferopol, No. 177 Moscow – Simferopol, No. 028 Moscow – Simferopol and No. 179 St. Petersburg - Yevpatoria," the company said.

Passengers of the train No. 92 Moscow – Sevastopol (arriving in Sevastopol today at 11.15) will depart from the Dzhankoy station by bus to the Urozhnaya station, where they will transfer to the train again and proceed to their final stations. Passengers have started boarding buses, the SSE reported. At the same time, passengers are asked to leave their belongings on the train.

Train No. 315 Adler – Simferopol (arriving in Simferopol today at 10.20) is stopped at the Dzhankoy station. Train No. 177 Moscow – Simferopol (departure 22.07) stopped at the Nizhnegorskaya station. Two trains - No. 028 Moscow – Simferopol (departure 23.07) and train No. 179 St. Petersburg - Yevpatoria (departure 22.07) stopped stopped at Vladislavovka station, the company reported.

The drone attack on Crimea took place on Monday morning. 11 enemy UAVs were shot down by air defense forces and suppressed by means of electronic warfare, said the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov. There was a hit in an ammunition depot in the Dzhankoy district, he said. An operational headquarters has been set up, residents are being evacuated. Train traffic was suspended, two trains were delayed at 9 am.
