OREANDA-NEWS  In August 2025, new car sales in Russia will be comparable in volume to the July figure. This was stated by the head of the Avtospeccenter Group of Companies, Andrey Terlyukevich, and his assessment is provided by Autostat.

Over the last month of summer, according to the analyst's forecast, a total of 110-130 thousand new cars will be sold in the country. For comparison, vehicle sales in July amounted to about 120.6 thousand units. "There is reason to assume that August will be able to continue the trend of July," Terlyukevich concluded.

Andrey Olkhovsky, the head of Avtodom Group of Companies, shares the optimistic attitude on the whole. He noted that the beginning of the last summer month turned out to be even slightly better in terms of sales volumes in the domestic market. Such dynamics allows us to count on a decrease in car stock, the volume of which increased sharply at the beginning of this year. According to the analyst, the July drop in the key rate will have an impact on the situation, as a result of which interest rates on car loans have become more profitable.
