OREANDA-NEWS  The Business Lines Group of Companies has launched cargo delivery to Russia from Iran, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar. This was reported on Tuesday in the press service of the logistics operator.

Business Lines has launched its own routes from the Middle East to Russia. For the transportation of goods from Iran, the UAE and Qatar, the carrier has developed new logistics schemes. Employees of "Business Lines" will pick up the cargo from the manufacturer's warehouse and send it to Russia by air, car or sea transportation, after which they will deliver the goods to their terminal or to the specified address of the recipient," the message says.

Sea delivery from the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas to Astrakhan will take about a week, auto delivery from Tehran to Makhachkala will take about two weeks, and sea transportation from the UAE to Novorossiysk will take the same amount. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs can take advantage of the delivery. It is noted that most often equipment, spare parts, electronics, clothing and building materials are ordered from this region.

"Changes in the foreign policy and economic conjuncture have led to a shift in the emphasis of trade turnover from the usual regions of Europe and America to new promising areas, including the countries of the Middle East. Following the requests of Russian importers, we have launched a new service for the delivery of goods from Iran, the UAE and Qatar to the Russian Federation, which opens up additional opportunities for business development of Russian entrepreneurs," the press service noted.

In 2022, Business Lines launched air delivery to Russia from China and Southeast Asian countries, and regular container transportation of goods from Turkey also began, the report says.

Business Lines is one of the leading Russian transport and logistics operators, the company is included in the list of system-forming companies by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. According to Infranews research, "Business Lines" occupy more than a quarter of the Russian market in the segment of combined cargo transportation, and according to Knight Frank, they are in first place among logistics companies in terms of warehouse space in the regions.
