OREANDA-NEWSSince Tuesday, the movement of trolleybuses on the last six regular routes in Moscow has stopped; later, only one route with retrotrolleybuses will be launched. This was reported by the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans".

So, the last trolleybus routes №№ м4, 28, 59, 60, 64, 72 from August 25 were transferred to buses and electric buses. Electric buses have been launched on route No. M4, buses have been launched on the other routes, named No. No. t28, t59, t60, t64, t72.

General Director of State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans" Leonid Antonov, quoted by the press service, said that as a sign of respect for the trolleybus, the city administration decided to leave one trolleybus route in Moscow forever - from Komsomolskaya Square to Novoryazanskaya Street.

It is noted that a second trolleybus fleet was opened on Novoryazanskaya Street in June 1937. The Moscow Transport Museum will soon open in this area, where you can also see trolleybuses of different years. The run-in of the route is scheduled for September, then two retro trolleybuses will constantly run on it.

Currently, there are 36 electric bus routes in Moscow, on which more than 330 electric vehicles operate. The first trolleybus route was launched in Moscow at the end of 1935.
