OREANDA-NEWS  British companies will start producing ballistic missiles, which they will develop as part of the Nightfall program for Kiev, next year. This is reported by the UK Defence Journal (UKDJ).

The London Ministry of Defense has confirmed that contracts for the development of the missile will be concluded this spring, and production is scheduled to begin in 2027. Deputy Defense Minister Luke Pollard said that the department is moving towards concluding several contracts. In March, three teams will receive money to design and assemble three rockets. The products will have to be sent for testing within 12 months.

After the test launches, the British Ministry of Defense plans to start production immediately, and the first deliveries of missiles to Kiev may begin at the end of 2027. According to Pollard, the pace of production will gradually increase to at least ten missiles per month.
