OREANDA-NEWS  The deadline for Ukraine's next payment to the International Monetary Fund has expired, follows from the payment schedule, which was analyzed by RIA Novosti.

According to this document, by midnight Washington time, Kiev was supposed to transfer 125,737,500 special drawing rights (SDR) to the IMF.

These are funds allocated to Ukraine through the main loan mechanism of the IMF, which is financed from the resources of the fund's member countries. According to the official exchange rate of the IMF on January 12, one SDR is equal to 1.3665 dollars, that is, the payment should have been about 172 million dollars.
