OREANDA-NEWS The armed forces of Pakistan have begun preparations for a possible military conflict with India. This is reported by the ANI agency.

"Sources in the country's military department reported on Wednesday that ships of the Pakistani Navy, including frigates and submarines, have already taken up positions in their seaports to be able to withstand any possible Indian invasion," the material says.

Earlier, Pakistani intelligence said that India was allegedly preparing to launch a military strike on Pakistan within the next 24-36 hours. Islamabad stressed that if such a strike were to follow, the country's armed forces would respond decisively.

Clashes on the border of India and Pakistan were reported on April 29. The day before, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that Islamabad and New Delhi could start a war within the next two to four days.
