OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian-Ukrainian talks will tentatively take place on Wednesday evening in Istanbul, an informed Turkish source told RIA Novosti.

"It is expected that negotiations between the delegations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine will begin on Wednesday at the Chiragan Palace at 19:00 Moscow time, but this is not yet final information: the date and time are being clarified," the agency's source said.

He clarified that the choice of location is related to its capacity and the interest of the parties. The language of the negotiations will be determined by the delegations themselves, and the organizers are ready to provide any assistance.

The third round is likely to last only a day, an informed source told RIA Novosti.
The administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed, as at previous meetings, its readiness to ensure the security of both sides. Ankara expects that the outcome of the meeting will be constructive and the dialogue will continue.

A senior Turkish official familiar with the process told RIA Novosti that the country's delegation will be represented at the talks at the level of heads of Turkish diplomacy, intelligence and a senior representative of the military department.

The parties held two meetings in Istanbul. As a result, they exchanged prisoners, and the bodies of the dead servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred to Ukraine. Moscow and Kiev also exchanged draft memoranda on conflict resolution.
