OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested former Coast Guard Lieutenant Peter Stinson on suspicion of threatening death to US President Donald Trump. This is reported by CBS News.

"The FBI's 19-page statement lists dozens of alleged threats on social media from Stinson. Social media posts covering the period from 2020 to 2025 include statements suggesting the use of a gun, knife and poison against Trump," the TV channel reports.

According to the FBI, the suspect posted "a number of threatening posts" on social media last week. In particular, Stinson said that when "Trump is gone, the party will be hot."

On May 16, the Secret Service launched an investigation into the publication of the former head of the FBI, James Comey, which can be regarded as a threat to Trump.
