OREANDA-NEWS  Turkey, together with its Western partners, calls for resuming negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as consolidating them with concrete steps. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing Turkish sources.

"It is necessary to consolidate this with concrete work and specific processes. Turkey has repeatedly stated its readiness to provide any mediation for negotiations. This requires joint efforts," the message says.

At the same time, the agency's interlocutor, referring to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stressed that there should be no losers in the negotiation process.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke about the fourth round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. He declared his readiness to host a new round of negotiations and a potential summit of leaders in Istanbul. The diplomat noted that, in his opinion, the three previous rounds of negotiations had led to tangible results.

The third round of Russian-Ukrainian talks was held in Istanbul on July 23. Following the meeting, the head of the Russian delegation, Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, said that the positions of the parties on the memoranda are now far from each other. As a result, the parties agreed on the exchange of military and civilians.
