OREANDA-NEWS  Artificial intelligence (AI) would refuse to be associated with the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen. Thus, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, joked about the chairman of the European Commission, RIA Novosti reports.

"I think that AI would refuse to associate to any extent with Ursula von der Leyen. I think he would have analyzed everything and said no, he's not playing these games," the diplomat suggested.

This is how Zakharova answered the question of whether AI could replace the head of the European Commission. She added that von der Leyen is a man who destroys "the foundations, orders, customs and traditions that have been formed in Europe for decades."

On November 17, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) filed a complaint against the European Commission for using generative AI models. The organization was trying to find out the sources behind von der Leyen's statement that next year "AI will achieve parity with humans."
