OREANDA-NEWS  The EU countries could not agree on a change to the EU's multi-year budget, which, among other things, provides for financing of Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros for the period from 2024 to 2027. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the approval of these amendments will continue by the end of 2023.

Earlier it became known that Belgium would not support the European Commission's demand to increase contributions to the EU budget to finance a 50 billion euro assistance program for Ukraine for 2024-2027.

In October, the American edition of The Hill stated that Western countries are starting to get tired of helping Ukraine. The author of the material, Ellen Mitchell, noted that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, directly lobbied dozens of representatives of Western defense departments for additional military assistance to Kiev against the background of its alleged reduction due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
